It rained more than I expected, so I was a little disappointed that we could not enjoy the beach as much as planned. Still, the hosts adjusted the schedule well, and the group stayed cheerful. I ended up having real conversations with people I had just met.

I liked that the event had a clear theme, but still felt casual. People were open to talking, the hosts kept the energy up, and it was easy to move between groups.
I liked that Famday was small enough to actually remember people. The hosts kept checking in, and the food made the whole meetup feel more personal than a normal language exchange.
The schedule had enough structure, but there was still time to relax. By the second night everyone was sharing snacks, stories, and plans for the next LST event.
I did not know anyone before going, but the shared rooms and group activities made people close quickly. It felt casual and local, which was exactly what I wanted.

The music, games, and host energy were great. I liked that it was mixed between Koreans and international guests, not just a tourist event.
